Me and my PiYo Pal on the porch!! He insisted on joining me! At least he didn’t get in the way too much. Decided to do my workout on the porch so I would sweat more!! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Today is day 1 of the 3-Day Refresh. What’s the refresh you ask? For me it’s a refocus on nutrition. 3 days of eating 100% clean and also vegan for these 3 days! I believe in mixing things up with my body. I did this after I got back from a trip and was sleep deprived! While I had decent results, I believe they could have been better. So now a month later I’m going to give the Refresh another go!

Something that I can’t wrap my head around…. 

This hasn’t happened to me personally in a while (people must know me better by now πŸ˜€), but over the last few weeks I’ll see motivating and inspiring posts by others in my Facebook newsfeed about how they are happy to be working out, doing better with their nutrition, etc and it never fails…. Someone leaves a comment about that person being fine how they are, don’t need to lose weight or something along those lines. And while those might be true statements, why can’t exercise/good nutrition be looked at as a way to improve our health? Why must it so often be - “you don’t need to lose weight!”  I put this out to you not to debate the rational of it, but to help others realize that while losing weight is a good thing - I mean we all want to look good right? - but that’s not the primary driver for me or why I help people as a coach. 

I want to see people have enjoyable, energetic, confident, healthy lives!!!
